Biglietto d’ingresso 5 euro.
The Archimede’s garden – A museum for mathematics
I don’t know how many in Florence know that exists a Mathematics Museum in the “Isolotto”! It’s not quoted on the newspapers, it’s not advertised and only the schools and the workers in that sector probably know his collocation.
The Archimede’s garden is in the district of the “Isolotto”, where there is an operative school complex but with facilities, gardens and a completely abandoned park.
A rugby field and something else of indefinable.
The Museum is installed on the top floor of a villa and the access is at the end of the avenue, in a fire escape which represents a “perfect compass”.
Interesting from a scholastic point of view, it makes various initiatives in the weekends. It suggests about twenty interesting books of mathematics.
Entrance ticket: 5 euro.
